>>93956025S1- Great at giving the two bros vs the crazy world feeling, overrated on /co/ and underrated everywhere else
S2- 1 but with less focus on random stuff, more digging into the characters and setting, pretty damn good
S3- easily could be the best season, still lots of adventure and energy from earlier seasons but more focus on who the characters are and their relationships, did interesting and new things, ultimately fucking fantastic
S4- a little weak though I can't remember exactly why, a lot more serious drama and stuff that didn't work out as well as it had in 3, still lots of great episodes to make it overall a good season
S5- where AT lost the script a bit, very long and sprawling with lots of controversial moves and boring and shit episodes, still lots of good to make it better but one of the weaker ones
S6- one people either love or hate; lots of focus on people other than Finn and Jake, crazy philosophical or analytical episodes, still plenty of fantastic eps to make up for it. personally my least favorite season, it got too up its own ass for my taste.
S7- bit of a return to normalcy while still doing new things like the miniseries, honestly a little overrated by the general fanbase but still overall very good and a welcome reprieve after 5 and 6
S8- may also be the best season AT had. two great miniseries, good individual episodes where I only thought like 2 or 3 were shitty, a ration that's up there with the 3 original seasons, while doing crazy interesting new things
The first 3 will always be top for me, but season 8 was genuinely impressive for how good it was. If 9 follows suite then I'll be happier than a pig in shit.
