Either "Summer Belongs to You" and "Across the Second Dimension." The time between had the best episodes. Characters were fleshed out, but the ideas were stll fresh, and they didn't have to rely on the gimmick episodes.

iirc the creators said something about not wanting to adress their biological parents as it would imply they were Phineas and Candaces' 'real' father or Ferb's 'real' mother and the point was they weren't. The Flynn-Fletchers are as close as any biological family and they thought calling attention to their step-sibling status would undermine that.

Eh, they'll have a crossover eventually. Probably some cameos as well; so far, it's just been locations and not people but that's probably because they're still establishing it as its own show.

That said, I'd love to see the Farmer and His Wife or Dana or Roger or any of the other secondary characters show up.

Excluding specials; My Sweet Ride sticks with me the most.

It had a lot of great episodes however, a part of me wishes they'd continued with the specials.
The Star Wars crossover and The Day of the Living Pharmacists were brilliant.

Disney gave them the option of continuing the show just as specials but Dan and Swampy wanted to move on to just focusing on Milo Murphy. Shame, I would have loved more of the Star Wars crossovers or a yearly Halloween episode.

The combination of that last season and the specials probably burned them out.

I actually preferred the regular episodes to the out of continuity specials like Star Wars, DOTLP, and the various ones in different times. Seemed like a gimmick to me that was only happening because of lack of creativity.

I really wish there'd been that movie. Sort of a sequal to ATSD but also a finale to the series. Maybe leading to a cross over between the various AU episodes we saw.

I was a bit iffy about the apparant liveaction but I liked the idea of the kids being stuck in the real world and having to deal with no "mysterious force" or montage music to get their projects done

although to be fair I think that trope applies less to wish granting genie's and better to other myths, like a monkey's paw or something. While I'm sure genie's have done, that plenty of them deal pretty straight as well

It only had four seasons, and the quality was pretty consistent through all of them.

you say that but the seasons were really long, it ran for 222 episodes. even for an 11 minute show that's a lot, and on top of that they had several half hour episodes, a tv movie, and a stand alone special.
