>>93437888>there's thousand of more pages after the Exodus that shows god starts to become less brutalWell, let's see, there's the Exodus...where he tortues and entire country. So we'll start with that as a base line
His next act was to slaughter the entire generation of people he just saved because they complained about getting stuck in a desert on a trip that maybe should have taken a month. Then he BTFOs his own chosen one and refuses to keep his word about letting him in the promised land.
Then he dictates the EXTERMINATUS of at least 8 different nations, down to the very livestock in some cases. I mean, sure, he was nice enough to let them take a few of the women as sex slaves, but kill the kids first man.
Upon his people's continual failure to genocide all their neighbors, proceeds to constantly get them invaded and enslaved, producing ever more fanatical prophets to spur his people in to rising up in genocidal rebellion, only for them to fail and have to repeat the process over and over and over again. Until finally causing the extermination of 10 out of 13 tribes of his own people.
It's not that God got nicer, it's just his people being completely crap at following orders and him eventually killing most of them. At which point he kinda had to lay off because they'd caused so much crap Rome kicked them out of their country and destroyed everything.
