>>93408626also just to go into this more, because despite being sick of these threads I guess I have a lot to say now that I'm complaining:
>screwed overit's not even like her not showing up that much is such a terrible fate.
if she breaks up with Marco it means she's sick of his shit and is aware he always prioritizes Star. if he breaks up with her she'll probably be aware he's been going through some shit and, again, with him it always goes back to Star.
is she going to completely break down and be incredibly sad? probably not, because it's not her show and the main conflict is on Mewni now anyway.
could she end up annoyed or unhappy or disappointed with the outcome? yeah, maybe, but doesn't that shit happen re: breakups in real life too?
and it somehow being "unfair" to not be on Mewni... why?
ignoring the fact that the group at the end of the intro isn't necessarily going to be THE SQUAD that entire season, they're not exactly there for Super Fun Summer Vacation Time. remember that Star's not on Earth out of fear of the psycho who's threatened her and her family and friends
granted the situation will probably be dealt with slightly in the premiere so that the season can still have light one-off episodes. but when shit gets real, as it inevitably will, having more people's lives at risk has a lot of potential to end poorly.
everyone's reacting like Jackie's face is getting rubbed in the fact that she's not there on Mewni with the crew, when we don't even know if she'd want to be if she knew the situation. I'm also suspecting Marco may end getting "trapped" on Mewni for a time due to the magic loss temporarily ending dimensional travel, in which case it's not even like he knowingly ditched her
