Fifteen, maybe twenty years ago, Frozen would have been made and it would have been a far superior movie. It would've went much like it did, only instead of Hans being a sociopath who was tortured sadistically by his older brothers (to contrast Anna and Elsa's PURE AND UNAPPROACHABLE SISTER LOVE BETWEEN TWO WOMEN WHICH IS THE ONLY PURE THING IN THE WORLD PURE), he would've been a human being who started to develop feelings for Elsa while she was captured and the two were together. He would've realized his feelings for Anna were wish fulfillment, and found an attraction to the similarly outcast Elsa.
Elsa, after her supervillain turn and the whole COLD NEVER BOTHERED ME ANYWAYS THIS IS A METAPHOR FOR COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET HINT HINT YAAAS QUEEN FUCK THE HATERS moment, would've realized that she had actual obligations that being a delicate snowflake didn't invalidate. She was responsible not only for her kingdom, but for her sister's well being as well. It's easy to say fuck the haters when you don't care about taking your whole country down with you.
The actual villain would've turned out to be the unctuous little diplomat who would have been plotting with the other countries the whole time to overthrow the kingdom.
Yeah, sorry, still nothing I can do about the motives of the people who wanted the psychopath sisters out of power being absolutely justified every step of the fucking movie. You'll just have to overlook it.
