>>93364982You know, I tried to get into Rebirth Superman because I really wanted to like it, but I just can't. It feels so saccharine to me, like the writer (Tomasi I believe) has to have a cutesy father and son or husband and wife moment every other page. It makes me sound like a jaded prick, I know, but it just doesn't work.
The thing is I don't even like edgier DC Rebirth books like Batman and Deathstroke either. Idk I was just bummed how much I wanted to like it but just...don't.
