>>93335060Has there ever been a good live-action Flash costume?
And why the fuck are they so afraid of the colour yellow?
It seems like his costume should be the easiest to adapt. It should evoke speed, like something a speedskater might wear. Slick, aerodynamic, mobile. Not fucking Injustice armour or biker leather.
Something like the material of the Raimi Spider-Man costumes would work well. Spandex with enough texture to not look like '60s Batman. Maybe base the boots on Nike Roshes, but extended to the calves, the same way Nike shoes were the basis of Keaton's bat boots. That way, it still looks like something somebody could run in rather than a guy trying to race in wellingtons. They could experiment with glossy materials for the boots, but if that ends up looking too cheap, just use that MCU costume material every superhero seems to have.
If the spandex ends up looking too homogeneous because Flash's costume isn't sectioned like Spider-Man's, add some separation with that kind of raised stitching you see on athletic apparel, and maybe use two different textures for the red parts.
Boom, aesthetically pleasing and comic-fairhful Flash suit.
