>>93081034Well honestly beyond the fact the fact that they wear costumes and call themselves superheroes there's not a lot of superheroes in it.
Look at the situation the main character is in for one.
I want to be a superhero so bad because I am so self sacrificing I'm going to not actually train to the proper level before taking the power of my mentor because I have to enter this school during the proper semester? Which leads to me being unable to actually use my power correctly and before I'm even out of my teens means my body is getting progressively more fucked up because I just had to join the right semester of school?
The supposed self sacrificing and idealistic nature of the main character is at odds with a lot about what he's at the school to do. Yes there's training there but there's also the fact that an explict purpose of the school is to get notice of teams and end up somewhere comfortable sponsor and job wise. There's the idea of the liscense but for fucks sakes you're the heir of the greatest hero the world ever knew.
They're really going to tell you to fuck off if you show up a few years later and that's really going to stop you from saving people.
