Despite the reviews, Gadot is still really, notably bad at acting. She is buoyed by the writing generally being better than it was in BvS, but she's still really fucking bad, often distractingly so. Parts of the film are sort of uninteresting and the pacing is jaggy in places, and the entire third act is complete fucking dross.
Still, it's a 6/10, far superior to the other DCEU films and a step in the right direction. You can tell the director at least 'got' Wonder Woman as a concept. If she was played by a competent actor here she'd probably be a really likeable character, as she is she's still occasionally fun, but occasionally cringy when Gadot is really shitting things up.
