>>92539823Is that from the Philippines?
Because they are the mecca of bootlegging and piracy (if it's not China), and I know from experience because I traveled to the Philippines many times.
And it even extends to TV over there, and they have no such thing as public access TV over there.
One PSA about recycling blatantly stole backgrounds from Phineas and Ferb, and they often use stolen images from other shows to put in their animation or educational shows.
The result looks like a bastard orgy between 12 oz. Mouse, The Nutshack, Breadwinners and those weird animated Spider-Man and Elsa videos.
And their shows often steal music from other sources all the time (usually anime or video games but it can be anything), and even radio programming does this.
The list includes but are not limited to: Studio Ghibli films (which is weird since the Ghibli films weren't officially released in the Philippines outside of bootlegs), Makoto Shinkai's films (which is weird since only Your Name. was officially released there outside of bootlegs), Square Enix games, Nintendo games, Konami games, Minecraft, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, Shrek, How to Train your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, Naruto, Gundam, Evangelion, Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Fairy Tail, yeah, this list is pretty long.
Yes, not even Shrek and Minecraft is safe from music theft.
If they don't do that, then they steal instrumental versions of pop songs and loop it endlessly and jarringly.
And even better, they don't add credits for the songs they used.
Really makes me wonder why no Filipino company was ever sued for copyright yet.
Filipinos barely give a damn about copyright since piracy is heavily mainstream there, despite there being copyright laws.
You can easily parody anything there and not a single higher-up like Viacom will give a damn.
If you want to go to a country where you can easily pirate anything and not get e-mails from companies such as Viacom or Fox, go to the Philippines.
