So just where did he come from? He bears some physical similarities to Aku and resides in the "pit of hate", which produces the same black stuff that Aku and the mindless evil blob were made from. While there are plenty of magical creatures running around, there aren't many demons. With the exception of the Celtic demon, they all seem to be made from black stuff.
