>>92478325>over almost all other characters I've seenYou mean in general, or just contained to Titans?
Possessiveness is a pretty common thing you know? Especially if someone has low self esteem or is very low energy, which is right up the alley of a lot of ones drawn to Raven since she comes off as the type to be very low maintenance compared to other characters, with introverted interests for the obvious reason she keeps her emotions lowkey.
You won't see this type of thing often with canon outgoing sluts like Starfire for this reason, they just attract different kinds of people.
But I guess what really drives this in for a lot of Ravenfags is the fact her Teen Titans version - AKA: the one everyone waifus or thinks of and lewds - gets shipped with BB often, even by the writers; a dude that for all intents and purposes mirrors most if not all of a Ravenfag's hobbies and quirks, not only that but BB is basically a green gremlin in appearance.
This really rubs them the wrong way for obvious reasons.
Kinda like getting the girl you like taken from under your nose by a guy that's basically you but worse, it just opens up a can of saltyness precisely because you were clearly in her strike range.
You can't just shrug it off by going "she was out of my league" with Raven.
At least, that's what I think using my armchair bullshit analysis backed by nothing but my ass.
My recommendation is to just self insert as Beast Boy or don't autistically imagine yourself in a relationship with a fictional character and just worship Raven's ass like a reasonable person.
