Well ... we know what Defenders of the Universe is like, so not much different to that, but if they keep the matching colors to lions, and Shiro instead of Sven it is probably more interesting although Allura will still be Caucasian looking and spanked by the nanny.

The animation wouldn't change at all. The character designs of the show I'm developing look like a cross between 80s/90s Saturday morning cartoons and stuff of Cartoon Network nowadays.
