Only a handful of wrestlers have any actual personality, and even then, those personalities feel more like situational personalities based on their current storylines. The storylines themselves feel trite and tacked-on, an afterthought to justify all the in-ring action. The in-ring action is often neutered (at best); even "205 Live" does not let the Cruiserweights go full flippy-shit - which is understandable given the risk of injury, but still disappointing.
Why the fuck should I care about Kevin Owens as "The Face of America" when, in three months, that situational personality will be as forgotten as Mason Ryan?
