>>92082691Try harder, make less sweeping generalizations. Brooklyn is also a borough or neighborhood of a very large city/metro area. Come on. We have several goodly sized cities that have one or more distinctive accents, and a pretty darn good sized country too, and one set up for cars.
You probably have a point about the work, but you sound like an utter idiot bringing up the smoking. The only restriction on smoking in many places is "don't do it too close to a building entrance" and only in the sense of loitering.
You can walk around all day every day and smoke outside. The restriction on open alcohol, while very common, is also not universal.
New Orleans is perfectly fine with it in some parts of the town. Other places are also very tolerant about drinking so long as you are like, in front of a restaurant.
And anyhow, we have a lot of liquor stores and sell weaker alcohol all kinds of places. Lots of places that serve it too. It's really cheap and easy to get drunk with friends or alone in a number of settings.
Also I guess maybe the drinking thing although we have our reasons there on when you can buy it too. You'r probably not wrong on principal though.
