Premium skins are considered shaders. The standards shaders obviously modify all pieces, but I somehow doubt the Premium skins will do that. Although I'd be happily surprised if it does work.

A jumping attack that crosses over your opponent and hits from behind, making you switch your blocking direction before it hits. An ambiguous crossup is one that's hard to tell which side it'll hit on and therefore which way to block.

MK has a block button instead of holding back to block so crossups aren't really a factor. You can do them but they can just hold block either way.

Standard shaders just change the color of the gear, nothing else.

Premiers cover the gear with a different skin entirely, and can't be customized at all. But the effects of the gear you're wearing under the premier shader will stay active regardless.

As far as we know, Clark told no one they were in the Phantom Zone (when he brings up Tim in issue #1 of I2, Tim is the only one we don't see on the panel, presumably because Bruce doesn't know where he is).

He may just think they're dead. Again Superman never told anyone what he did them and when he's talking with Bruce in the start of the comic he mentions Tim along with other Robins which to Bruce would make it sound like he killed him.

But I do think they will eventually have to address this since demand for Starfire is high and most of the DLC characters showed up in the comic last time.

Also you can select combos to appear on screen in NRS games so you dont have to pop the combo menu up every time. Memorize some easy ones. Most people online won't have better strategies than alternating between some combos and special attacks, except for the pros.

Ares is the only one who has a shot at returning as an actual character. He was originally gonna be on the main I2 roster but they cut him to make room for the new.

He'd have plenty of gear options, would be easy to revamp, and would have DCEU synergy.

I'd rather have only new characters for DLC but I wouldn't mind Ares coming back. I'll be salty if it's anyone else.

I'm pretty happy and most people should be. It's a chance for brand new characters to make an appearance. The way things were shaking down it was likely going to be Red Hood, Starfire, and Constantine as New DC DLC, Rorschach, Spawn, and Sub-Zero as "guests" and 3 slots for either returning characters or new characters. I always hate it when fighting game characters get cut from subsequent sequels even though they were on prerequisite titles that ran on the same basic game engine that utilized the same game mechanics. The only excuse to cut characters is if they're exceptionally bad or pointless to the story.

And then here comes Boon teasing us that that characters may be returning if we allow him to cuck us out of our shekels.

And yes, I'm salty that my main from IGAU isn't part of the main roster.

Supes did go pretty crazy after killing Lex in public. However, I think the only reason he killed Billy at that moment was because he knew he'd be a major threat to him. Especially with all that magic at his disposal. I do hope they mention him feeling guilty about it though.

If they do a 3 I would like it if they just kept the heroes turned villains as is and have a new generation of heroes around to fight them. As someone who didn't get the Scorpion figure edition of MKX, I can tell you that it really sucks when something really cool is just inaccessible to you because you didn't buy the most expensive edition.

No. Like stated before we all know there will be a cheaper version with all the character content. People should be rewarded for spending the extra money up front to support the game long term. Otherwise you are just ripping them off. It's basically an early adopted incentive so the game does well instead of waiting to spend less money.

Notice that literally the only poll about specific DC DLC was the one with Starfire, Constantine, and Manta. Do you guys think they'll have the base roster voice actors record new dialogue for their characters' interactions with DLC characters/premiers?

Or will NR just use generic pre-recorded diaogue intended to work with any character? Like in MKX and GaU in some cases.

Depends. They got everyone to come back for the KP1 characters, but since KP2 wasn't planned ahead like the first, some actors got tied up with scheduling and couldn't return. It seems these 9 are planned ahead so I think it's a safe bet they'll record new shit

Barely. They just recorded themselves saying the sames of the DLC characters. Then they just fitted the DLC character dialogue in with generic pre recorded stuff.
