Probably this, sadly.
I liked his almighty square chin and his rectangular pajama, they made the squash and stretch movements more fun to look at. I don't think this new design can achieve that same effect. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Asian here. I've got siblings whose skins get a yellowish tone when they tan. They originally have kind of lighter skin, comparable to S5 Jack.

We're at a point where people are defending Samurai Jack the same way people defend Dragon Ball: even when the creators themselves admit to forgetting what happened in their own franchise because they weren't really paying attention, their fans will still take their word on continuity.

Besides that one point you mentioned, I disagree with that comparison entirely. Dragon Ball super is an eyesore in terms of narrative and visuals.

Yeah, Genndy did forget a few bits here and there. But I don't really care all too much, I'm just enjoying the story he's tailoring right now, really my biggest gripes are with the Guardian but he'll be addressed at some point.

Boris could have survived honestly. I have no problem with him surviving, but Jack cut the shit out of the Gentleman and the Abo.
A shame since the Gentleman was in my opinion the coolest dude since his plan was just him challenging Jack to a duel, no bullshit like the others.
