1. Briana isn't mean. She may appear aloof and distant but it's rarely on purpose and more a consequence of her unique circumstance.
2. She's not a good goody either though. She'll help where she can, but if she takes a job she expects to get paid for it. Her morals are solid but don't make her some idealized superman.
3. Generally, she isn't aware of herself, body wise. What her figure does to men doesn't even register to her. If you want to, you could probably get away with her not knowing what sex is.
4. She has a deep genuine affection for her surrogate family.
Depending on where you take the story, how she evolves as a character is up to you.
