>>91473821Think about it for a second.
DC's got a blue character that's got a history in the field. On paper, that blue character should win, no questions asked. It's got the name recognition, the experience, the "brand".
But then they run a campaign that doesn't connect with the common man. And people say, "this isn't connecting with me" so instead that blue character and its supporters start talking about how shit the competition is, and how it's all bright and flashy and immature and lacking in substance. They go on the attack, they go negative, and never actually address their own flaws.
And they're so confident in their rich history and their name recognition and their qualifications that they don't recognize that they're losing.
So they get their ass kicked by a smart ass loud mouthed billionaire wearing red. And even after they keep come in second, do they think "maybe we need to reorient instead of costing on our names and identities?" Nope. They double down on how they're so much smarter than the ignorant plebian trash and their immature leader. Because the problem can't POSSIBLY be them or anything they're doing.
The bloggers had it wrong. The DCEU isn't trumpets. It's the other way around.
