>>91260707>What did you think of:>pixtopiaShit, I forgot about most of this one. I loved Star's excitement about Marco being her "mess-up buddy" and singing about his "emergency cash stash" the same way she sang about his nachos in Party with a Pony.
The fact that I can only remember a few seconds of Star being cute should confirm that most of this episode was a shaggy dog story.
I miss Marco's chubby friend though, he was alright.
>lobster clawsFelt like an early attempt at fleshing out the monsters but since this one is about justifying the s1 status quo of the jobber squad just getting beaten up every episode, it's a downer.
>star on wheelsSome of it was cute, some of it was annoying. It works in theory but it just didn't pop for me.
>fetchThis one had a similar problem, with a very simple conflict that wasn't terribly interesting. And the twist of Star giving away the necklace was weak -- she still got it and still owed a thank-you note. But I liked the talking dog idea and connected with Star's emotional arc here.
>goblin dogsPerfectly fine parody of food truck hype that they couldn't get to add up to more than the sum of its parts. But the trippy "eating the goblin dog" scenes almost made it worth the tedium. And the green bush having another bush sitting on top of her was funny.
