And for those who hate coffee, its literally a hot water extract of beans, so it either a) the water or b) the bean, or both. There are some autists on /ck/ that can show you the science behind the water but I'm sure you can Google a quick article that breaks it down. I'd just start buying different brands, they DO taste very different, once upon a time I hated coffee and now I tell my father his cup is too watery.
