>>91055840Hey, the frog thing is an actual major issue. Water treatment plants that take water from major cities have had inadequate filters for removing excess estrogen from processed birth control. It doesn't seem like much, but the water shifts through the cycle, but the chemicals that are not filtered out stay in the environment. Frogs are a major first warning sign since they develop entirely as an aquatic animal, and excess estrogen levels were reducing their male population at a dramatic level.
This is a major issue primarily for the frogs in these ecosystems that are dying out due to low breeding capabilities, and not because the water is going to turn us gay. I would, however, love to see more in depth studies of the issue and its effect on say muscle growth in young adults in those areas etc. Just because some nuts latched onto an idea doesn't mean it's not important and dangerous on some levels.
