>>91010892Because the whole idea of marketing Mega Man to children is fucking stupid in the present day.
Hardly any kids who watch this will know he has a game, and if they find out, they are likely to only get The Legacy Collection on the 3DS.
And guess what - today's kids are so fucking dumb they're going to get blasted by the difficulty, and then not care anymore.
Capcom should be marketing Mega Man to those who grew up with him.
Who know the music, the characters, the game universe, and would appreciate crossovers with X or Battle Network.
Y'know, the people who are actually constantly asking Capcom for new Mega Man content.
Kind of like how Toy Story 3 worked.
Everything in that movie plays on the idea that the people watching it are now ~24 years old, such as Andy going to college and throwing out old toys, and the gang almost being incinerated.
That choked a lot of people up.
They either have to market it to both the die-hard Mega Man fans AND new kids, OR just the Mega Man fans. It won't do well just aimed at today's kids.
