Something about how youtube animators complaining about how hard it is to make money off youtube is nonsense when they only upload like 2-4 things a year, and there are better ways.
Apparently, that's not exactly what he meant, I didn't look that heavily into it, because I didn't really care that much. and it's really not that big of a deal
I just noticed that people who have been taking swings at Destiny since his stream have jumped right on that, and a fuckton of the Youtuber community has shown up complaining about it or patting animators on the back. Egoraptor, takahata, LittleKariboh, psychicpebbles, people favoriting each others comments on it, plenty of the regular faces, let's players talking about how hard animators work, EVERYONE'S in there!
I get the idea that people have an opinion and their right to it. But even if Destiny is 100% out of line, it don't need this sort of outrage.>>90851804
He decided to become a racist. He went on a stream with Destiny (which is the only reason anyone is talking about Destiny in the first place), and said some pretty indefensible racist crap that there's really no digging himself out of
Not ONE, not a single ONE of anyone from the Youtuber Gang felt the need to call him out or ask him to reel it in. The only people I've seen who have had anything to say about it is are unrelated news podcasters.
Destiny says some shit about animators, and now it's time for the united front. It really comes off like people are just using it as an excuse to take a swing at the guy who gave a chance to make the lovable JonTron make himself look stupid.
The fact that everyone is jumping in, just makes it worse, everyone gotta get their swing in and get at that dastardly Destiny, but everyone turns stays silent when one of the group favorite's becomes a racist and let's everyone know it.
It just comes off as cowardly. Everyone go after the easier target for extra points and pats on the back!
