The "she's just a kid" defense really doesn't work. She's just a spoiled, lazy, selfish bitch. And yes I was lightyears more responsible and mature than Star at age 14. I would never have thought of humiliating my parents in public like that no matter the fights we had, I put in effort, understood the meaning of tradition and the necessity of doing stuff that aren't fun but are still important, obeyed my parents, didn't get anyone else in trouble because of my personal thrill-seeking, thought about the needs of others, was responsible and able to follow basic fucking instructions etc.
It's not about being a "fully matured" adult, it's just that Star is exceptionally shitty and spoiled. It's made even worse because she KNOWS she's not a commoner with freedom, she KNOWS she'll have this huge-ass responsibility of having to run the entire kingdom, and even then she doesn't give a fuck.
I really do enjoy watching her suffer, because she deserves all of it. All of it, and much more. I only hope she at some point will get to see her mom die (and later revived again) just to make her realise what a total fuck-up she's been all this time
