>>90171798>Toffee's plan coming together off-screen
We see him play Ludo like a fiddle, we see him set up Buff Frog, we see his fist shake with rage in Mewnipedence Day, we see him earn the respect of Ludo's minions, we see him grin like a madman when the Wand detonates, we see his severed arm grasping Ludo's half of the wand, we see him tainting Star's wand and his finger being thrown in her closet, and we see him use Eclipsa's chapter to possess Ludo just as had happened to Marco earlier.
Exactly what part of his plan that was executed during the show happened off-screen?>>90171856>The 16 years that Marco spent becoming the Road Warrior didn't happen?
Until they actually do something with it and it has any influence on the story, it might as well not have.>>90171899
You're being obtuse on purpose.
"Marco is learning about Jackie, it's just off-screen" doesn't mean anything if we never see the results of that affecting their relationship on-screen.
They're not actually making any progress until we see that progress happen, or at least the results of that progress. Their dates have all been basic couples stuff, plus skateboarding. As far as we can tell, Marco still doesn't know Jackie any better after three dates than he did when they went to the movies. She got throwaway lines about her interests beyond skateboarding, but they haven't been explored, so they're hardly worth more than fluff on a character bio.
