>>90117750Huh, sounds like one I came up with, where Mabel was transformed into a shape shifting mass of insects due to being in the bubble for so long. Anyway, here's my circus AU idea:
Basically, it's one where the Mystery Shack is a travelling circus.
Stan is the ringmaster. He wears a ringmaster's outfit, complete with a top hat that has a fish-like symbol on it. He also runs the side-show, with various attractions that are varying levels of obviously fake.
Dipper and Mabel share an act. Mabel's a human cannonball, and Dipper's the one to light the cannon's fuse. Mabel wears a sparkly pink outfit that looks like a combination of a jumpsuit and a dress, as well as a sparkly cape with a shooting star on the back. She also wears a white and pink striped helmet with a glass visor, as well has a spike at the top and large curved horns on the sides. Her curly brown hair is more than long enough to stick out from under her helmet, and nearly reaches her ankles. She often ends up covered in soot from the cannon blast.
Dipper wears an assortment of different clothes, like something you'd find at a rummage sale. One particular item of clothing her often wears is a hat with the faded symbol of a pine tree on it. He carries a box of matches in his pocket, which he uses to light Mabel's cannon.
Soos is the strongman. He wears a greenish singlet with a question mark on it.
Wendy is the axe juggler and thrower. She wears a juggler out fit as well as a hat, and her long red hair drapes down her back and just past her waist. She's usually seen with a lit cigarette in her mouth. The heads of her axes are coated in a flammable liquid, and she lights them on fire with the cigarette in her mouth during her performance. She's also the substitute human cannonball for Mabel's act if Mabel can't perform for one reason or another.
