/co/ doesn't seem to be traditional furry. They've discarded all the norms and traditions of furfaggotry (suits, fursonas, etc) just to pick out what they like, namely the attractive cartoon women. As far as /co/'s "furries" are concerned it doesn't matter if it's skin, scales, fur or feathers: if it's got the right curves, it passes. Hell sometimes it doesn't even need those.
Besides, out of all of /co/'s vices, softcore furriness is the least to be worried about.
