I figure outside the city and Mewman farms are basically lots of untamed wildland. Remember the episode where Star took Mr and Mrs Diaz to Mewni? That evil deathtrap of a forest full of carnivorous plants and hydras and who knows what else was just a short stroll from where the peasants lived.
Ludo might just be lurking in a random cave in the wilderness. >>89702854>Meatfork also seemed like a guy strong enough to make a living as most monsters do by stealing and raiding so living under Ludo might seem like a downgrade to him although those less fortunate might feel differently
Maybe. But I think it still says a lot about Ludo that all the monsters serving under him are forced to do so. >>89702900>I still think that'd be a bit too much, got to have Star throwing out spells to keep that magical element intact.
I'm pretty sure that's why they introduced the whole "dipping down" concept in the first place. It allows Ludo to get stronger by first having half of the wand, then the whole thing, while Star gets nerfed, but can still learn how to cast magic and prove herself a worthy hero instead of just effortlessly using the wand as an "I win" button.
We see what Ludo would look like with the wand early on in season 1, so I think he'll get the wand sooner or later and turn into MegaLudo.>>89702936
