>>89681522Just remember to NOT take things seriously and you should have an ok time.
What to expect:
>Lorefags will talk about biblical references and DEEPEST LOREThe foreshadowing and lore is pretty decent and there are a couple of really top notch episodes. Season 1 is mostly "wacky adventures" until the last few episodes of S1. Check out Mewberty, Blood Moon Ball and St Olga for good examples of the various subplots and lore. Season 2 turned the dial beyond 11 and the stakes are rising with each episode. It's a good blend of adventures and lore working together where every episode offers bits and pieces so you always feel satisfied with lore and character progression.
>Cinnamon rolls and Mountain DewMemes about Star and how she smells. Don't ask.
>THE C U C K E N I N GYou'll fully understand the irony of the situation when you watch Blood Moon Ball and Bon Bon the Birthday Clown.
>ShippingCompared to other fandoms, things are pretty civil and chill most of the time. If you pay attention to the flow of events throughout the show, you'll notice that the romance subplot is actually tied with the lore, can't really go into it without spoiling too much. Just know that SVTFOE is one of those rare shows that make a really decent blend of lore, action, comedy and romance plots.
All in all, it's a great show that's improving with each episode. I advise you catch up fast since tomorrow we are entering what is potentially the mother of all shitstorms where things will get real very fast, in multiple aspects ranging from the lore to the romance.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, most people will be happy to help you out, link to the episodes or just talk about stuff.
And remember one important thing, you'll understand when you catch up to the latest episode, and that is:
NEVER FORGET THE BANANA PUDDING, STAR NEEDS TO BE KEKED INTO OBLIVION
