>>89536746Uh ok. The purple haired girl from dagashi kashi is pretty inhuman. So is chaika from that one show. Yoko and the magic space girl from gurren lagaan are boring fap bait. I love that show, and crushed on yoko when i watched it, but they were hardly deep. Which is fine, anime is great for many reasons, i just don't feel like well-written females is its strongsuit. The again, few mediums do have great females though, i can think of many more anime girls i liked than western cartoons or film. But yea lots of girls tend to fall into this generic kind of feisty (that i enjoy thuroughly as a kind of guilty pleasure, but i wouldn't call "good" or "realistic"). Girls are very self-surving. I dont mean that in an /r9k/ way, i mean that they are human beings who have motivations beyond making men happy. But many anime, being lighthearted fantasy, have girl characters who exist FOR the male characters. The same way male characters in romance pulp are meatheaded dullards who ooze magic money and sex appeal. Pure fantasy.
I kind of change my mind, the medium has a lot of good females but you have to admit it has a lot of bad ones as well. Certain "tropes" are just stupid. any kind of robot girl is pathetic. They are created for men who cannot handle interacting with a real woman and want a glorified sex doll. I see a little bit of asuka in every woman i meet. Rei is a fucking meme and anyone with a vagina knows it. Sister characters too. In real life sisters dont usually want to bang their brother.
Yandere is at best very romanticised but mostly just fictional. The dopey super cheery/ sleepy/ always hungry/ silly bullshit girls. The super sexy boob ones that are oblivious of how sexy they are etc.
