I never thought much of the show, but I can't say I've ever met anyone through my various /co/ and /tg/ hobbies who was remotely near as bit a social reject as Big Bang Theory paints them to be.
It's a show about laughing at nerdy losers that pretends it's laughing with them, add on top of that, it's just not all that good, and it's easy to see why people in a place like 4chan dislike it.
