It's too bad they had to ruin it yet again by the bane of all adventure cartoons - comedy slapstick skits... in 7-11 minute formats.
Bunnicula has 52 goddamn episodes to go before it goes into season 2. The art style is expensive to animate, that's why there's so few animators on board and the only good animator was there for the intro which has more like 5 seconds of quality animation and the other 25 are just tricks.
You can remove Harold, Chester, etc. but it won't do anything unless the whole directing, writing, plots, jokes, dialogue, characterization changes.
Still, I think Bunnicula and Mina would make for a much more lovable 2 character cast and have enough time to properly develop them and make them interact with one another. (If Bunnicula could talk)
