Huh, I saw this years ago and remembered it being a friendly jab, but in this context it's prettt obviously a "take that".

Weird that they have something out for Beavis and Butthead, though. The animation was shit (especially early on), but it was a hell of a lot better than Tiny Toons.

I'm trying to remember a "good" episode of Tiny Toons (memory is too fuzzy). So far I can only think of:

-Plucky travelling with Hamton's family
-That episode where Hamton invites his friends to some fancy french restaurant.

It's not just that, he hate's how the character designs translated into the final product (http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2009/11/tiny-toons-ideal-1.html), the fact that it was script lead cartoon, and a lot of other animation elements of the show.

That's something extra for the parents, and since we're on /co/ which is 18+, you probably aren't going to get a lot of support for the argument that only kids should be watching. You could argue it makes kids more aware of pop culture. As for "the kids don't care for it" speak for yourself. Back then I got a kick out of things like Arnold Schwarzanegger parodies, and other celebrities I didn't necessarily know.
