>>88968018See, you clearly don't understand Royalty. Those that do achieve royalty, like Meti, didn't give a shit about it.
Meti was one of those people who understood intrinsic facts about reality, she spent her life in battle, cutting down her enemies, and thus knows every aspect of the blade and the results of wielding it. Meti never moped about being a swordfighter. What she hated were people who clung to glory, who believed wielding a sword and cutting enemies could make them something incredible, something majestic, something beyond man. However her Sword Manuel makes it clear she did not hate swords or swordfighting, she goes on about the importance of understanding the world, and yourself, in every way, and only then can you truly Cut, she taught about respect, to both yourself, and your opponent, and that if you dare to wield a blade you must be ready to embrace death with as much joy and energy as you embraced life. She believed, whole heartedly in a persons strength, but she did not ever hold the misconception that someone who lives by the sword could do anything worth meaning, it's why a chunk of her manual tries to steer whoever is reading it towards learning actual skills and trades and living a simple life, rather than one bathed in death and killing.
She was someone who quickly became disillusioned with the idea of becoming anything more via the sword than just another killer.
