Then I looked at the male statistics. gay men experience the least violence. There really is only one unifying pattern in those CDC statistics. For women, your chances of being abused increase when you date other women. For men, your chances of being abused increase when you date women. Women are abusive.
So it's really the other way around. Lesbians experience abuse from women, then start dating men (who are less violent) and begin identifying as bisexual women. Heterosexual men experience abuse from women, then start dating men (who are less violent) and begin identifying as bisexual men. This explains why male and female bisexuals have had more intimate partner violence in their life. And why exclusively gay women experience more violence than their straight female counterparts, but exclusively gay men experience less violence than their straight male counterparts.
