Especially when there are unwashed hordes of incel neets crying about how there aren't enough goddamn white males in fucking funnybooks.
I personally am not interested in Afro-Iron Chick or whatever, but someone may be. I've read enough Tony Stark stories to last a lifetime (hint: he hasn't been good since the second collapse into alcoholism) and they're al still out there for the torrenting, unless you have piles of money that you want to just set fire to. Besides, everything snaps back to Status Quo soon enough...if that's your thing.
Frankly, comics need a new paradigm instead of putting out a line of unending serials aboutf the same characters...take a break. Follow Spider-Man through a storyline, put him back on the shelf, and follow a different character or group through a different arc. A bunch of mini-series, if you will. Create new characters, revisit old ones, follow up on dangling plot-threads, do "What-IF-?"/Elseworld stories, keep bringing back popular authors/artists. Do animated/live-action treatments of popular and niche/cult characters. Limit crossovers in number and make them reasonable (say, Moon Knight and Punisher) -- or absolutely nuts (Hulk and Rocket Raccoon), and goddamn "events" should happen only when there's a good story, not forced out yearly, or multiple times a year.
