The way I see it is a matter of influence.
The reason people on /pol/ are seen as nutjobs by normies is that they go off about things that they have no influence over whatsoever (on a personal level).
The normal man concerns himself with feeding him and his. Working his job, and being the cog he is in the grand machine of society.
When you discuss things from beyond your station, others on your socioeconomic level wonder
>What the fuck is he talking about>Why waste your time>What good will it do>You have flaw [x],[y], and [z] what would you knowAnd without an education system to instill in the normal person the need for greater areas of thought and thinking beyond ones on situation, people who do are rarely tolerated.
It doesent help that a lot of the time, their limited understanding leads them to be wrong in the big picture, which helps push the perception that they are wasting their time.
People like soros on the other hand, with the intellect and means to think and manipulate the world on that larger scale (I can only assume) lose a lot of perspective about the lives the affect and in turn have skewed morals.
TLDR: Plebs hate other plebs who try not to be plebs. The wealthy have the means and know how to manipulate and that causes them to become monster (If they were not before)
