I wen't from thinking Matts ok to literally prasing every podcast he isn't on. Also, they all give Pat guff, but hes the only one who ever consistatnly talks about videogames. Like Woolie and liam talk about it, but then they go on for fifty minutes about something fucking stupid, like mac n cheese or grenada, and christ, I feel like matt hasn't actually finished a game outside of LPs, since all he goes on about is movies and how much he hates comic books.

Honestly, I don't think I'd have followed the group for so long if it were just half or 3/4ths of the gang - they all have such earnest camaraderie and generally keep each other's bullshit in check.

Re: comics, I feel like Matt and Woolie seem to enjoy just about anything that's a 7/10 or higher... that gets pushed in front of them. Why make an ENTIRELY STORY BASED GAME for MINECRAFT?

Its a game people play to dick around and build monoliths, sometimes of penises, in a giant cubic environment

There's no interesting plot there, the entire draw of it is the sandbox aspect. There are no beloved characters, at most just some of the monsters becoming gigantic memes and in-jokes

The best part is it barely does anything with it. Oh it makes game references with "griefers" and other things, but the world is barely explored. There's no explanations about the world, there's no sense that any of the characters are trying to survive apart from a generic "save the world" plot and the mythology it builds is idiotic and shallow.

It's the perfect game for a "let's not play" because the devs didn't care either.

I think they're a real curate's egg. Initially I thought they were knowledgeable of subjects and on a surface level they are but the more I looked into what they talked about, the less I realised they knew.

The most annoying thing is the constant brand cocksucking and refusal to change opinions (anything Souls, anything Platinum, anything Kojima is amazing or 'ok' at worst).

Matts easily the most annoying and comes over as the sort of person that if you asked him about any of the 'wild and wacky' things from a comic he'd fall apart and back right the fuck up on everything just like Pat does when pushed for sources. Woolies stories from Grenada are infinitely more interesting than anything he is currently doing and Liam drives for pointless arguments a lot of the time but seems to be the only guy that calls any of them out when wrong (when he knows they are)

The real worst thing is that woolie is so autistic about spoilers in anything that he actively mutes discussion on films/tvshows until they are devolved into "remember when this character did that thing you know, that was amazing"

I'm usually up for comic talk in other shows even if it's pretty shallow but these fucking guys.
