In terms of dynamic the other characters felt similar in how they played off him. Pizza was Lana if she had Mallory's job, and Christine was like Cyril if he had Lana's job.
Yeah, it isn't a perfect comparison, but the show is really, really bad so it never does anything to justify getting over the bad first impression.
