You attract people that you know produce quality but will expect more compared to others. Likewise, you need to organize these large groups of people so you need someone experienced in making sure the product is made on time, so you use more money to bring these people on the team. Now you have people that make good artings and teamifyings, you need people for the writering and singsonging. But you can't just get anyone. You need people that have proven to produce good stuff in the past.
So more money is necessary to get them on the team and pay for them because more experience = higher pay. You bring that altogether and then edit it, which requires, time, effort, and more money.
So you now have a finished product carefully groomed to appeal to a large audience that want something that looks and sounds good, and just different enough to make them feel progressive while still playing the usual story so people don't feel like they are taken out of their comfort zone. Which creates Good. Because Good = higher profit.
