Before her is a ghostly vision of Glossaryck. “Seems like they are getting along fine without you.” He says with a wry smile. Star tries to swing her pillow at him but he poofs away then reappears on top of her head. “Wow, honestly? Not even a ‘Oh wow Glossaryck, are you okay, where are you?” He scoffs. Star becomes indignant. “Glossaryck, what are you doing here.”
“Well, that’s a start.” He mutters. When Star raises the pillow again he continues. “Well I thought you might do me a favor while you are out running around NOT learning your spells.” Star lowers the pillow. “What is it?”, she grumbles. “I need you to destroy the Magic Instruction Book.
“Say what?” Star says in disbelief.
“Mhmm, yeah I’m gonna need you to destroy the spellbook as soon as you can.” Glossaryck says casually looking at his fingernails.
“Wait, why? Won’t that destroy you too?” Star says a little sad at the idea of having to destroy her mentor.
“Star, Star.” Glossaryck replies trying to be reassuring. “When have I ever lied to you?”
Star gives him a droll look.
“Okay, true.” He sighs, “I need you to do this kiddo, I can’t keep Ludo busy for much longer, and I feel something else clawing at the book, trying to pry open my mind. Something dark. Look you’re going to need help to do this, but I know you can do it. Remember, DIP DOOWWNNN.”
Star awoke as Mina began shaking her, it was morning.
“Star, come with me.” There was an odd calm in Mina’s voice.
