I didn't get the part where PB wanted the guardian to spare Susan because Susan was her friend; they met one time years ago. I would understand if she didn't wanna take Susan out for Finn's sake but it wasn't framed that way.
You'd think PB would want to destroy any threat to her kingdom with extreme prejudice, the fact that you vaguely know the person doing it wouldn't factor into that.

Susan being there was equally dumb; when the fuck did PB knew she was in Beautopia or have the means to invite her to casual hang out sessions? The end of Beautopia (the episode) always seemed to me like Finn and Jake were leaving Susan and her tribe in a place that was pretty cut off from the rest of society so they wouldn't really see her again then all of a sudden she pops back in to sing a song. Didn't tonally mesh I think.

Even then though, Susan helping out that one time still makes me think PB wouldn't give half a shit.

If you can stream it on Google Drive you can download it. If you're absolutely retarded you can generate and download the playback link via DownloadThemAll quite easily, it will lose the file type/name but if you rename it to .mkv it will work just the same.

Regular Show had wonky numbers too but it's because people weren't counting the shorts as episodes. Everyone thought season 8 had 34 episodes in reality it had 32 because they did not count the shorts. Same for Steven and Ule Gapa.

Plus that movie might come out eventually, who knows?

Man I'd say these episodes were more blueballs than The Comet. I didn't like season 6's finale too much but at least shit happened in the end, the annoying cliffhanger in this episode would have been like if season 6 ended as soon as Finn and Jake went into space or something.

Mortal series and The Lich will always be the best finales, unless the show really satisfies with the end of the series.

I was confused at the grass sword and Finn sword thing. I Am A Sword showed that parts of the grass sword are already in the Finn sword, but in this episode is seemed as if that didn't really affect anything and whatever the hell the grass creature is was only formed when the grass sword still present on Finn's arm went into it.

Basically how I feel. I really don't like they are going with the whole, more and more humans still exist route. The show was much more interesting when Finn was the only one, a lone boy and his dog in some magical world.

I'll watch it to the end because of the history I have with the show, but honestly, it's lost its pizaz I feel. This episode felt flat as fuck and I just didn't care about anything going on.

So, now that is season 7 is over, what were your thoughts on it? How do you rate it /co/? And what were your favorite episodes?

I give it a 7.5/10.

There were a lot of episodes I did not like...some of which I did not like a fucking lot, such as Broke His Crown...but there were some eps which were wonderful and that I recommend to everyone. Imo, 5 best ones:

Blank-Eyed Girl
Flute Spell
Hall of Egress
The Thin Yellow Line
King's Ransom

Crossover deserves special mention too I think. The season started off very strong imo...and petered out in the end. Here's to hoping 8 is better.

It makes me feel good knowing other people hated Broke His Crown so much. I don't know how they made that episode so shitty but they sure did.

I don't know how to rank seasons using numbers but your mark seems pretty fitting for me too. Liked season 7, had a better proportion of good episodes to shitty and mediocre ones than season 6 did I feel, and that's all I could have asked from it. Stakes had problems but was mostly cool.

His neon green eyes and his habit of deleting shit from existence makes me think he might be related to the Lich somehow, or at the very least the monsters-before-nothing.

Comfy yes, meaningful no. It didn't really develop any characters apart from PB's ongoing life outside of the candy kingdom. Marceline exited her miniseries exactly the same as she entered it, they just invented a backstory for her powers.

i don't know about anyone else but this episode really instilled me with hope for the show. there's a lot of potential here. what does the underground human haven look like? is that where martin is from? what's the goal with turning all of these animal species into hybrids? why is finn wanted in the human haven? is jake dead?

jake's probably not dead, but they should at least keep him out of commission for ~10 episodes or so.

there's potential here, and i bet it's realized.

Bits of the grass sword entered the Finn sword at the end of the Bandit Princess episode, maybe the Cthulhu thing is the essence/creature from which the grass sword originated from, and it occupied the same space as sword Finn except maybe hiding.

I liked the Jake suit making a return, was a cool fight sequence.

Pretty annoying though that the show took a 5 month hiatus, aired a finale that was basically brand new storyline which ended with the classic mid-scene cutoff, and is now on hiatus again until Season 8 airs.

Loved Dr. Gross. The way they animated her movement with her augs all extended was rad. Tiffany as her assistant was also great, had all the best lines.

I look forward to see where they go with this island of humans thing.

Also I thought the fight scene with Susan did some cool stuff with the action considering the limitations of the artstyle. Liked it when Finn was pulled up to the top of giant Jake and Jake retracted into Jakesuit Finn which used the height to get a good elbow in. Pluss all the wrestling throws in the ensuing fight.

They showed that they can't into character arcs, therefore any attempt at it will be rightfully ignored by the yours truly.

S8 may be another mixed bag like S7 or a very disappointing season like S6, I don't care anymore.

I think trying to determine whether or not something like this is build-up to a future plot is pretty pointless since the show isn't extensively planned out. The hand falling into the portal was probably set up to be something that could be developed if the writers wanted to, or just left alone as a one-off scene.

CN can't blame the fans. They can only blame themselves, for never airing reruns, not talking about the ep, not advertising it AT ALL, and randomly changing the air time last minute so the very few people who knew tuned in too late. I swear, that stuff is like crack to 8 year olds. Really expensive crack, that makes CN tons of money. And I can't even imagine what they are going to do with the AT movie that was planned. Probably refuse to give it ads, attempt to silently fire people on the production team, and slowly stop helping to finance it until the whole movie bites the dust. And you know what that movie would do, if it would be sry ran out of space will continue lol stupid character limits.

And there's some really cool stuff in the rest of the show, like a miniseries about Marceline's past. There are also lots of fun episodes similar to older eps, like Mama Said in season 7. This has been one of the most disappointing reveals in this show.

What made Ooo's backstory interesting and fascinating is that it was pretty much just Earth that got a reset thanks so nuclear bombings. It also made the characters that are afflicted by its past more emotionally attached to the viewers.

Now it's like they said "fuck it, let's retcon all of this shit because [X] storyboarder or head writer doesn't like it anymore" and becomes an alternate dimension of our Earth.

Bravo AT crew indeed. This show went to shit from S5, but I still deeply hoped it would revert back to its former glory.

It just seems pretty obvious. It's a signal coming from her tech implanted in Susan. Who seems to be a subject from before she was chased off the island. So it connected to a terminal in Dr. Gross's abandoned lab. Which sends a transport. Ergo it's an old transport from her old lab.

Damn yeah, it is pretty shit. I liked the shot of her being surrounded by snakes but this looks just low effort.

Wish this at least looked like the comic Marceline got as a prequel to Stakes, that seemed really simply drawn too but at least looked a whole lot nicer.

Actually, it's possible that wasn't the actual Rattleballs. Back in Jake the Brick, there was a brief scene where you could see RB seemingly working in restoring a bunch of old Rattleballs bots, so maybe it was one of them who died.

So the series is ending in early 2018, and there are plans for 2 or 3 more miniseries' in the mix. Which character do you want more focus on? All things can be taken into consideration as long as it follows the M.A. Guidelines.

Yea but it's hard to say if that miniseries focuses on him or not right now. We know those plots are Season 8 related but it's not confirmed if it's the miniseries point or the season (or both).

I mean, he might be a secondary main. I think at BEST it'll be about him but focusing on the people he's meeting first and foremost.
