Admittedly that was hard to translate with Google. I'm still not sure if she's misinterpreting his offer or propositioning him. I went with the former, personally, because of her dialogue in the next page (which could be her regretting she doesn't get any intimate company, or being sad she's got nobody to hold her during the night to keep the nightmares away, or both - I *think* the latter), but ended up leaving it kind of ambiguous anyway. If any actual Portuguese speakers could opine I'd be grateful.
For reference (Original/Literal/Dynamic):
Bem, nao posso deixa-la ir a estas horas... fique hoje em minha casa.
Well, I can not let it go this time ... must abide at my house.
Well I can't let you head off at this time of day... you should sleep here overnight.
Vou dormir junto a voce?
I sleep with you?
You wanna sleep with me?
Ha? Nao, nao... hoje e minha vez de patrulhar. Por que?
Ha? No, no ... and now my time to patrol. Why?
Huh? No, no... and today's my turn on the patrol. Why?
Eu so gostaria de dormir sem pesadelos... e nao me importaria de ficar junto daquele soldado.
I just would like to sleep without nightmares ... and me not mind staying with that soldier.
I just wanna sleep without nightmares for once... and I wouldn't mind staying with that soldier.
"Vamos dormir juntos." Comeo sou idiota! Agora deve achar que sou uma menina boboca!
"Let's sleep together." As I'm an idiot! Must now think that I am a boboca girl!
"Hey, let's sleep together!" I must look like an idiot! He probably thinks I'm just a stupid little girl...>>87621473
No worries. I might storytime Issue 2 on /co/ too, when it's done. Just waiting on a response from the creator on the subject of the completed Issue 1, after he liked the sample I sent him. He hasn't gotten back to me yet.
