Modern WB (since 2013) is as mindblowingly stupid as Sony has been for the past two decades.
As I always need to remind myself, modern movie studio executives are the failures/rejects among businessmen. They're stupid, lazy, bad with money, etc. If that weren't true, they wouldn't be in the movie business. These are the sort of retards who go from business to movies because "dude, i could come up with a fuckign SICK idea for a movie lmao. and i'd get the best people working on it and it'd be fucking sweet bro". And, mind you, they're saying this without having created anything artistic in their life, let alone really tried to make it their passion/job, let alone be -- y'know -- GOOD at it.
Plus, rather than balancing the top of the ladder with some artsy types, some business types, some general smart people, it's *all* business rejects nearly all the way down.
So, to get back on topic:
When I think about what WB will do next, I imagine what someone with boundless confidence, tons of money, and no discernible artistic taste would do. I imagine what the person who said "Zack Snyder is a perfectly fine architect for our DC films" would do.
And then I stop being surprised.
