What I think a lot of people don't understand or appreciate is how good a life the bumbling, silly villains in shows and cartoons like this have. They get to be villains--they get to have fun plotting scheming, pranking, gloating--but they don't go around murdering people or cause much lasting damage, so they never have to deal with the threat of jail time or worse, and if one of the heroes throws a sweet party or something, they can absolutely just swing on by and grab some free food without being thrown out, threatened, or made to fight for it. Some people would call them incompetent or ineffectual, but I like to think they know they're just living the good life. I want that life. The perks of "evil" include awe-inspiring digs, the most stylish wardrobe, the best songs, and having the most fun. The perks of not being that bad of a guy are that you get to keep having and enjoying these things, as well as the ability to just chill with the people you antagonize every once in a while. Who could say these guys lose all the time when they're always winning?
