>>87453471I don't think it should be 4 all the time. What I love about the Archie Comics, at least from what I've seen, is that they use novelty characters sparingly. Amy and Tails are typically here to stay, but you don't really see Knuckles helping Sonic out TOO often, and the same goes for characters like Shadow, Blaze or Silver
For something a little more whimsical like Mega Drive, I think 4 is the perfect limit. They shouldn't go beyond that, but I'm perfectly ok with them going with 1 or 2 foils, if any
