>ProwlThe epitome of a spartan, modern room. I want to say it has the atmosphere of minimalist luxury but these days he probably has to make do with less refined architecture. You have to wipe your feet at the door either way, whether he's currently sleeping in a fancy apartment or the back room of some ship. No useless clutter, though he allows himself a few special display pieces here and there just to break up the monotony (and that little pot of sweet snacks at his desk, that's a must). Don't look at that thing over on the shelf too closely - that's Definitely not from Chromedome, stop looking at it. All his shit is meticulously clean and orderly and he will be pissed if you put his datapads back in the incorrect order. His bed is HUGE. Because doorwings. Also, like the owner, there's not a lot of colour to be found.
>SoundwaveLess of a room and more of a test in dexterity. Why are there so many wires, oh god, the tripping hazards are endless. What are these even hooked up to? Also, the overhead lights are hardly ever on, and in fact might not be working any more - most light comes from the many over-bright consoles and computers dotted around the room, lines of code running down their screens. There's a perpetual hum of machinery in here, made all the more evident by how small the place is, relative to the usual massive rooms you'll find Cybertronians in. The sound presses close, tingles against metal, a physical touch, almost. You either find it unnerving or comforting - Soundwave obviously feels the latter. Too much noise is a problem, but dead silence is just as bad, and the hum of the computers is something he's comfortable with. He sleeps in what is most accurately called a nest of blankets and pillows, deep in the warmth and security of his little data-cave.
I got a bit carried away, but I like picturing and describing these sorts of things. I'm also really tired and tend to ramble when I need to sleep. Sorry!
