These days there seems to be a competition for relatable teen X-newb.
Pixie was just one of many in the New X-Men academy book, Armor was the relatable sidekick in Astonishing', then (godhelpus) there was Wolverine's school...
This is just something X-Men books do, even the spin-offs have newbs join up.
Anyway... we all know Eva Bell is the best.
