He never cared much about "damn" or "hell" but slurs where you tell people to go to hell, or equivalent things he told us not to say as it was basically the worst thing you could wish on a person.
Fuck, shit, things like that he didn't really care about, other than saying he thought too frequent usage of it made one sound stupid.
Though, I rememeber the year my sister was getting ready to go to college, for Christmas they bought her the unabridged Oxford dictionary, and my dad sat under the tree and read us all 27 definitions of the word "shit" in English, and used them in sentences. Laughing the whole time.
